Local MP appointed as Member of Privy Council

Following the Prime Minister’s Cabinet reshuffle yesterday, Greg Barker remains Minister of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change with an extended portfolio.
However, in addition to his role he has become a Privy Counsellor, after being appointed to the Privy Council.
Greg is now The Rt Hon Gregory Barker MP.
