At the Beckley and Peasmarsh AGM on Saturday 12th March tributes were paid by Greg Barker, Peter Jones and Ian Jenkins to Ron Parren who was standing down as Branch Chairman. Ron who has held the position since 1996 has however opted to be a continuing committee member under the new chairmanship of Zai Koder. Cllr Ian Jenkins was also adopted by the branch as a candidate for the Rother District Council elections in May.
