10 05 11 for immediate release:

Local MP Greg Barker visited the beach at Herbrand Walk in Bexhill last Friday morning with Rother District Councillor Joanne Gadd to listen to the concerns of local residents regarding new proposals to allow the launching of jet skis from this beach.

Speaking in Bexhill, Greg said “Having listened to the concerns of the local beach users, I agree that public safety is of paramount importance.  Jet skis are potentially very dangerous and should only be used well away from other beach users and swimmers.   I am very concerned about the unregulated use of dangerous and noisy jet skis on our local family beaches.
