Following what has been, and will continue to be, a challenging local and national landscape, we were delighted to see Dr Kieran Mullan successfully elected as the Conservative MP for Bexhill and Battle. BBCA passed huge congratulations to him and thanked both our teams for helping with his campaign over these past five weeks. As members will know we had a very short period of time to campaign, but the tireless support from many and Kieran's hard work and incredible commitment has paid off.
I was very proud as Chairman, along with colleagues, and his family, at the Count to see his successful election. But it has been a gruelling time for many and now the real work begins. I am sure you all join with me in wishing Kieran great success and support him in doing the best for this constituency.
