We are relaunching the Churchill events, each with a guest speaker. Our next event is at the Bear Inn, Burwash on 19th February, 12.30 for 1pm. I am delighted to say that our guest speaker is Cllr Keith Glazier who is, of course, Leader of East Sussex County Council. He will speak and be questioned on 'Devolution Explained'. As I write this we hear that the government decision on whether Sussex is included in the first priority group of councils has been delayed to 3rd February, but the government intention is clear, so it seems certain to happen at some stage.

Please also pay £28 per person to the BBCA bank account, details below, with reference Churchill or post a cheque to BBCA to the office. Please note that we need to have your order by 12th February.

B. Trio of local sausages, Confit garlic mash, Peas, Boozy onion gravy
C. Hunters Chicken schnitzel, French fries and salad
D. Fish pie. Flaked salmon, cod and prawns in a white wine sauce topped with a cheddar and spring onion potato mash, Side of roast carrots and peas
Dessert
E. Sticky toffee pudding, Butterscotch sauce and salted caramel ice cream
F. Apple and berry crumble, Vanilla custard
G. Carrot cake served with candied pecans and pickled carrot ribbons
There will, of course, be a raffle.
